Kate Coyer leads session on Social Movements, Political Participation and Digital Media for the Bulgarian School of Politics

Kate Coyer recently lead a session on Social Movements, Political Participation and Digital Media for the Bulgarian School of Politics "Dimitry Panitza". Demonstrations have been ongoing across Bulgaria since June 2013, so the topic was timely and the discussion especially engaged. The session was part of the non-profit School's National Program “Governing Skills”, which is targeted to young political and civic leaders from parliamentary represented political parties in Bulgaria, representatives of non-governmental organizations, central and local administrations and media. It is aimed at forming new European-type political and civil culture among young leaders and strengthening morale principles for their present and future development.
